Creative Teaching Press Exclusive Blogger Giveaway!

I am soooooo honored to announce that I have been invited to join the Creative Teaching Press Exclusive Blogger Team! Creative Teaching Press is the standard for teaching products when it comes to classroom environments and set up. We all know as teachers that we want the classroom we learn in to feel like home. The second you walk in  my room you know what the culture of my classroom is. Students need to not just "like" school; they need to love it. Classroom culture and room design has a huge hand in that. Next fall I will be helping to open the newest school in our school district, where I will still be teaching second grade! So, how did I get this hook up you're wondering? Last February, I was invited to attend the Ed Expo in Atlanta, GA. While I was there, I got to meet the fabulous staff at Creative Teaching Press and the rest was history! The second I walked on the display floor, I wanted to see more of their booth. Who wouldn't? Their products are so appealing! I told them I would take one of literally everything!


While that would be amazing, I narrowed it down and decided to pick two of their collections: Painted Palette and Chalk It Up! I am super excited to mix and match products from both to create a fun new look for The Doghouse next year. Here's a sneak peek of my plans:

I love using pennants and flags in my classroom to add a little extra something to my bulletin boards or even my windows. These will be perfect!

This look is created by combining Ombre` Rainbow Scallops and  Dotted Swirl. Seriously, could these two collections be any better together?

How about this? It might be my fav. Create this look by layering  Rainbow Paint Chip under Chalk It Up Dots on Chalkboard White. Swoon.

Or, maybe Herringbone is more your style. You can get this look by layering Herringbone In Chalk over Rainbow Herringbone.

These poster sets are part of their Inspire U line. I plan on using a little bit of both to keep my students inspired and using kind words with each other. I love both sets. How in the world am I ever going to decide?

Creative Teaching Press is celebrating a big anniversary this year! It was 50 years ago that a veteran school teacher named Luella Connelly got the idea to make her creative ideas for fun and effective teaching available to other teachers. And with the success of her "Recipes for Creative Writing", CTP was born!
