He is an amazing inspiration to educators all over the world. In the next few months, he will travel to Norway, Australia, and all over the US and Canada to speak with and inspire teachers, parents, and administrators.
George has a project going on where he gives a shout out on Twitter to one person in his life each day that has made a positive impact on him, big or small. He blogged about this project, called 365 Great Tweeps, and you can read it here. It instantly made me tear up.
I love the idea of spreading one small, simple act of kindness everyday. In fact, this project inspired my New Year's resolution: to complete at least one small act of kindness to someone everyday this year. Ideally, this act of kindness will be something that cannot be repaid.
I am so excited to be one of George's 365 great tweeps. December 27 was my lucky day to be honored by him! I felt like someone needed to pinch me, because I had to be dreaming. Thank you George for your kindness and for the shout out! You will never know how much this means to me. Thanks for the inspiration, and for making the world a better place.
Wow! I can't believe that happened! Oh wait, yes, I can believe it! You are amazing girl...I have a feeling that big things are in store for you in 2014. Keep doing what you do best!
