We are having an excellent Election week in The Doghouse! Here are some pictures of things we have been up to...
We made our own Presidents and wrote what we would do if we were the President of the United States.

On Tuesday, we had a big Election in our classroom and voted for the President of the United States. We made posters advertising which President we thought would be better for the job, and did some research to learn some facts about both candidates. We filled out our secret ballot (some of us wrote our names on them, oops!) and put it in the box. We counted up the ballots and did a bar graph and a tally chart with our results. In our classroom, Romney won 21 to 4.
It feels good to vote! After we placed our ballot in the box, we made our own "I Voted" badges to wear around the school all day.
