Hey Top Dogs!!! I hope you had as much fun today as I did! I know you are going to love second grade! Did you remember to tell your moms and dads all about your first day in The Doghouse? In case you forgot, here are some things we did today:
- Drew
self-portraits (pictures of ourselves)
- Learned how
to walk in the hallway like 2nd graders

about each other using our bags we brought to school
- Went to gym
with Mr. Attig
- Read First
Day Jitters and drank some Jitter Juice
- Read Chrysanthemum
and made name maps
- Read The
Kissing Hand and made little Chester the Raccoons

extension change). If you didn’t get a chance to bring your supplies to school
today, it’s not a big deal. Just bring them when you can! Also, there is a
Challenger information packet coming home today. Please return it to school by
the end of the week. If you haven’t returned the information sheet and blog
permission form I sent home this summer, please return those by the end of the
week as well! If you need extra copies of these, I have some at school! We will have music
with Ms. Heikkela tomorrow and Media, too! Yipee!
